Fairy Tales?

World's Shortest Fairy Tale?

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?' The girl said, 'NO!' And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf a lot and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

The end

Nice short story. I guess it works for the other gender too. Just change the activities that ladies would enjoy such as being pampered at a spa, mahjong sessions, shopping, shopping and more shopping. LOL!

I am glad the girl said 'NO'. I do not want a man like that. He is crude, unrefine and a lousy looser. I doubt he can be happy..has too much air inside him. He should know why the girl say 'NO'. It is also right that it is the shortest love story because no one want to give him a new one.

So much money for what? Who to share? All his activities of fishing, hunting and drinking break all our Buddhist's precepts! Why do I want a man...who make way for himself to HELL. I want no part in it!!!! He knows not LOVE and don't deserves any!

He lived happily ever after...but always felt like something was missing. And he died alone and unfulfilled.

Unless he got hit by a car.

Either way, married or alone, if one is just caught up in a role of being married and all that might entail or being single and pursuing short term pleasures, one is living without depth. A person can have a full life whether married or not if it lived with awareness.

Yes, how true..

When you are single, u have single suffering.. (wanting to get the right person)

When you are married, u have married suffering.. (when you spouse give u a headache)

When you are divorced, u have divorce suffering.. (being alone and finding new partners)

When will this suffering ends?

It will, when u are contented in whichever situation you are in .. and all stop your desire and fear..

Easier said than done.. I think.
