Why do u fear death?

We all fear death.

But what exactly do we fear on death? Death is an event and dying is the process.

Perhaps it is fear of pain and suffering , which can be very real if we have cancer. But nowadays medical advancement can tailor pain management to the needs of every patients. So that shouldn't be fear.

Perhaps it is the fear of uncertainty. Where do one go after death?. It really depends on what is your belief system. Understand and learn about it can over come this fear.

Perhaps it is the fear of leaving everything and everyone behind. We won't give up and we can't let go. This attachment to our material illusion is a daily cause of our constant suffering. We can be our own master of our destiny but not to be attached to anything too much. Everything is impermanent and so are our body.

So why do u fear death?
